You can change the battery by following the instructions below.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"702\" height=\"211\" src=\"https:\/\/lascarelectronics.com\/intl\/wp-content\/uploads\/el-usb-batteryreplacement-300x90.png\" alt=\"El USB battery replacement\"><br>EL-CC-1 \/ EL-CC-2 \/ EL-PDF-1 Ranges<br>These are sealed units and the batteries are not replaceable. If your battery has run out, you will need to buy a replacement product.<br>EL-GFX Range<br>When replacing the two\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/lascarelectronics.com\/intl\/data-loggers\/data-logger-accessories\/bat-3v6-1-2aa\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/lascarelectronics.com\/intl\/data-loggers\/data-logger-accessories\/bat-3v6-1-2aa\/\">3.6V 1\/2AA batteries<\/a><\/strong>, loosen the two screws located at the base of the unit. Remove the lower portion of the housing to expose the battery bay. Remove the old batteries and place new batteries in position. Replace the lower housing and tighten the screws.<br><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"199\" height=\"199\" src=\"https:\/\/lascarelectronics.com\/intl\/wp-content\/uploads\/el-gfx-batteryreplacement.png\" alt=\"EL GFX battery replacement\"><br>EL-USB-LITE<br>With the lid off the logger, remove the screw from the opposite end of the logger. Carefully separate the two moldings and remove the battery from the metal holder. Replace the battery with a\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/lascarelectronics.com\/intl\/data-loggers\/data-logger-accessories\/bat-3vx5\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/lascarelectronics.com\/intl\/data-loggers\/data-logger-accessories\/bat-3vx5\/\">BAT 3VX5.<\/a><\/strong><br><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"656\" height=\"168\" src=\"https:\/\/lascarelectronics.com\/intl\/wp-content\/uploads\/el-usb-lite-batteryreplacement-300x77.png\" alt=\"EL USB Lite battery replacement\"><br>EL-USB-1-PRO<br>Remove the battery cover using a small coin or something similar and allow the battery to slide out. Replace the battery with a\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/lascarelectronics.com\/intl\/data-loggers\/data-logger-accessories\/bat-3v6-23aa-h-temp\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/lascarelectronics.com\/intl\/data-loggers\/data-logger-accessories\/bat-3v6-23aa-h-temp\/\">BATT 3V6 2\/3AA H TEMP<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0and then screw the battery cover back in. Please note that this is a specialist battery that allows for operation of the logger at high temperature. Using unsuitable batteries may result in fire or explosion at high temperatures.<br><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"647\" height=\"166\" src=\"https:\/\/lascarelectronics.com\/intl\/wp-content\/uploads\/el-usb-pro-batteryreplacement-300x77.png\" alt=\"EL USB pro battery replacement \"><br>EL-USB-ACT<br>The EL-USB-ACT is supplied with two AA batteries fitted. To begin use the battery tab must be removed as shown below. When replacing the batteries, simply loosen the screw on the rear of the device and replace with two additional AA batteries.<br><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"213\" height=\"213\" src=\"https:\/\/lascarelectronics.com\/intl\/wp-content\/uploads\/el-usb-act-batteryreplacement.png\" alt=\"EL USB act battery replacement\"><br>EL-USB-1-RCG<br>The EL-USB-1-RCG features a non-replaceable, rechargeable battery. When first installed in the data logger, this may cause a momentary drop in the battery voltage (the Transient Minimum Voltage) as the internal layer is broken down, resulting in the data logger resetting. Inserting the batteries in the data logger and leaving it connected to a PC for about 30 seconds will remove this layer. After this, remove and re-install the batteries to reset the data logger. Pressing the button will start the data logging session.<br>&#8211; \u2018dS\u2019 indicates that the data logger is in Delayed Start mode.
